Jude Stensland is a retired Nurse Practitioner and Midwife who maintains the best thing about retiring is the absolute freedom to musically make a happy fool of yourself in front of a crowd of people!
She has been playing harmonica about 20 years and plays with District 10 OOTFA and at any jams she can take in. She first learned the blues on the diatonic harmonica but now days she mostly plays fiddle tunes on the circular tuned harmonica. She believes “if you can hum it, you can play it.” Her goal is to help beginning students be able to play a single hole at a time, find the basic scale, and bend a draw note. The rest is up to the student’s readiness to try something new.
